Robert Cooper, A/P*
Marine Communications Systems

Robert Cooper is a lifetime boater with over 40 years of boating experience. Raised in a navy family,Robert has lived and boated on both the East and West coasts of the US, as well as in Hawaii.

A member of Bellevue Sail & Power Squadron since 2002, Bob recently took a more “active” role in squadron participation. His teaching style uses humor and even a bit of history to engage students. Because of his extensive technical background, Bob is able to make even the most complex radio and communication topics approachable and understandable.

Professionally, Bob is an electrical engineer who has been with Boeing in instrumentation and systems design and test, for more than 30 years.

*NOTE: A/P indicates someone who has achieved advanced piloting status, as a result of successfully completing all of the advanced piloting classes offered by the US Power Squadron. Robert has lived and boated on both the East and West coasts of the US, as well as in Hawaii.
