Service Description

Explains what AIS is, how it works and how to use it to avoid collisions. The various equipment alternatives are described and compared, e.g. receive-only, Class-A, Class-B, etc. plus the different ways to display AIS target data, e.g. chartplotter, mobile device, etc. Also covers the details of setting up AIS on your boat, getting an MMSI#, etc.

All classes, seminars, clinics, et.al. are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of students is not met. If it becomes necessary to cancel your class, you will be notified via email 5 days prior to the start date.
