Boat Handling (Seamanship)
This class is suitable for skippers of all levels.
Service Description
Builds a foundation for confidence and competence for safe and enjoyable boating on the water. Covers handling and maneuvering a vessel, either sail or power. Provides a better understanding of how boats behave under various conditions. Knowledge and skills are increased in the areas of anchoring, emergencies, rules of the road, and marlinspike/basic knots. Also includes an introduction to chart reading and chart plotting. 10 sessions of 2 hours each. Reduced price for members.
Cancellation Policy
All classes, seminars, clinics, et.al. are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of students is not met. If it becomes necessary to cancel your class, you will be notified via email 5 days prior to the start date.
